Toni Sturdivant, PhD
Toni Sturdivant, Ph.D., is the vice president of early education and workforce development for a Texas non-profit organization. She is proudly raising two Black and confident daughters. Dr. Sturdivant earned a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching with a cognate in early childhood education. Her research focuses on Black racial identity development and young children. Sturdivant is the author of "I Like Myself: Fostering Positive Racial Identity in Young Black Children" and "Positive Racial Identity at Home: A Pocket Guide for Parents of Young Black Children" and numerous scholarly articles.
