Tia Leathers is the Executive Director of Family and Community Engagement for Duval County Public Schools, the 21st largest in the country, serving close to 130,000 students. Tia is also certified facilitator for the Parent Leadership Training Institute. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband of 13 years and their 8-year-old daughter. She identifies as Black/African American.
