Sarah Hannah Gómez is a doctoral student in children's and adolescent literature at the University of Arizona. She holds an MA in children's literature and MS in library science from Simmons College. A former school librarian and member of We Need Diverse Books, she now teaches undergraduate courses at the University of Arizona and works as a freelance writer and editor.
