Dr. Stephan Blanford is the Executive Director of Children’s Alliance where he leads a team of employees and staff committed to improving outcomes for children and families across the state of Washington. He was elected and served on the Seattle School Board in 2013 and at the conclusion of his term, he received the “Leadership for Equity” award for his unapologetic advocacy for educational justice. He is the proud father of a high school senior who was launched to success in a Head Start classroom and has been an advocate for quality early learning since then.
