Amy Heberle

Dr. Amy Heberle is a clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor at Clark University. Her research focuses on how children and families think about their own identities within social systems, how they resist oppressive systems, and how they thrive in spite of oppressive systems. Recently, Dr. Heberle and her collaborators have developed and tested a model for supporting White parents who aspire to engage in authentic, active anti-racist parenting with their young children. She is also the mother of two wonderful young children, Susanna and Maya.
